PittieLove Rescue Inc. is a non-profit, foster-based pit bull rescue in Massachusetts. PittieLove rescues pit bulls mostly from Massachusetts Animal Control facilities and shelters…dogs who other wise may not find a home and be euthanized. These dogs are all temperament tested for any aggression. No dogs with aggression issues are taken in to the rescue. Rarely, PittieLove Rescue will take in owner surrenders, however this is minimal due to the high volume of pit bulls in shelters/animal control facilities throughout Massachusetts.
PittieLove is always looking for foster homes. This is the most needed volunteer position at this time. There is no physical facility so dog walkers, kennel cleaners etc are not needed. All of the dogs are in loving foster homes where they are cared for, integrated in to a home life, and begin training to become highly adoptable dogs.
